How many times when faced with a difficult decision have you been told by a trusted friend, family member or co-worker, “Trust your instincts!”? Yet do you recall the last time you mentioned something out of place to that same friend, family member or co-worker and they told you, “It’s just your imagination” “you’re just being paranoid” or similar? So what is the disconnect here? It’s ok to use our instinct in business and buying decisions, but not for interpersonal encounters? That’s when you really SHOULD listen to your instincts!
